Our culture has confusing and often negative attitudes toward sexual pleasure, leaving us little good education on the subject. This class will delve into the pleasure skills that we may never have learned. Issues discussed will include pleasure for various genders, pleasure enhancement devices and skills, the health benefits of pleasure, several sexual response models, and how intimacy and pleasure interact. Therapists, health practitioners and educators alike will have a broader view of pleasure and be able to offer practical suggestions to students, clients or patients. Safer sex when using toys is also covered. This is a fun and interactive class, divulging insights about ourselves as well as the populations that we serve. For details please see learning objectives.

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 6 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.
