This class will cover the most common issues that therapists may come across in partners’ sex therapy, including desire discrepancy, power dynamics, and compulsive behaviors. Ashlie Befus will explain the broad range of partnered configurations, from monogamous to polyamorous and various other forms of open relationships. In addition, we’ll expose common myths and misconceptions that may inhibit therapeutic progess, including myths about intimacy, sexual desire, and male sexuality.

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 6 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.
