Sexuality is many faceted, but it is also about touch and movement. This playshop invites the participants to enter into an exploration of the erotic body by using meditation, movement, dance. With dyad and group exercises, we will deepen our connection to ourselves and others. Through a creative process we will bring our body more into focus, and learn how our body's presence enriches our experiences for building intimacy. Educators and therapists will gain insight into how movement and touch intersect with sexuality and building erotic intimacy. All participants will have an opportunity to learn more about themselves while fully enjoying the process.
Kellie Ryan is a sex educator, dancer, and massage therapist. She founded the Academy of Muses in Ithaca, NY, and now leads Sex of Self, a personal growth women’s community in Portland, Maine. Originally trained with Toni Bergins of JourneyDance, Kellie has deepened her own exploration of movement as a meditation and as a method of discovering how the body can be used to reach higher states of consciousness. Kellie facilitates the embodying of connection with one’s own center, as well as with each other, through the power of touch and movement.
